I too, will NEVER go to Bowser. A year ago I purchased a vehicle that was a year old,the new models were already out. This was never brought to my attention. The salesman was very unprofessional, and was in a rush to get me out of there. Upon closer inspection of the car,it had 700 miles on it. Apparently,an employee must have used it for some time. Fast forward 6000 miles, and I have completely bald tires. When I called Bowser they told me the alignment was probably off. They wanted me to bring it out for a look over and I refused. They offered no compensation. I will climb to the top of a mountain and tell everybody, never go to these dealerships.

Extremely unprofessional service

My wife had our car towed to Bowser Pontiac in Pleasant Hills PA to have an ignition problem repaired. When she described the problem to the service rep. she was told it sounded like a $200.00 or so repair. The actual cost was well over $600.00. However this is not my reason for submitting this complaint. I am sending this primarily due to the way she was treated throughout this process. Bowser Pontiac had our car for well over a week. She made repeated phone calls to find out the status of the repair. The person she dealt with for the most part was named Brian. It was a week before he called and told her the price of the repair and the reason it was so much more than what was discussed. My wife authorized the repair and then got a call from Brian telling her he recommended other work to be done on the car which took the estimate to well over $1000.00. Here is the gist of my complaint. I thought the original $600+ was outrageous for an 18 yr old vehicle for which we only paid $800.00 but now we were looking at an even more ridiculous figure $1000.+. I told my wife to call Bowser and let them know we were not going to get the repairs done there. I spoke to a service rep. (not Brian) who told me that the repairs to the ignition switch had not been completed. This was Friday, March 06, 2015. I told this person we were going to have our auto club come and tow the vehicle to another mechanic. I asked if we owed any monies for diagnostic tests or storage. I was told we owed $102.00+tax. We paid it, and as it was late in the day we decided to get the vehicle towed the following morning, again having been told that none of the work had been completed on the car. The following day Mach 07, 2015 we called our auto club who sent a tow truck to Bowser to get our car. Two hours later our auto club called me and said that Bowser would not release the car because we owed money for the car. I immediately called Bowser and demanded to know what monies owed since we had paid for the diagnostic. I was told that the repairs to the ignition had been completed and had been completed since Weds. March 04, 2015. Again, the previous night, Friday March 06, I was told that no work had been done on the car. So now we owed over $500.00 to get our car. My wife called Bowser and paid this money and we picked up our car. In no uncertain terms, I am furious with the way this was done and I expressed that to Brian when I spoke with him on March 07 before we picked up our car. I was told by a service rep (not Brian) that the parts to complete the repairs on our car had only arrived on March 06, 2015 but Brian told me that the repairs were done on March 04, 2015. Needless to say I will NEVER go back to Bowser again and I will not recommend anyone else go there for anything. I ask that you please address this.
